Most “big name” brand jean companies have moved their operations overseas, in a move they said would cut production costs and keep prices down.  However, thousands of Americans lost their jobs and still for some unknown reason the price of their jeans went up!  Wallace Thompson vowed that his factory would never go overseas, nor would he compromise Quality for Cash.  He would bring a Great Fitting, High Quality, Reasonably Priced jean to the masses. 

100% Made in the USA Texas Brand Jeans quickly went from a dream to a reality, but more importantly, an ideology.  One with American Workers making an American Product of Top Quality, priced right.  100% made with pride in the USA in our own Asheboro, North Carolina Factory.  We use only American Made Denim, Fabrics, Labels, Trim and Hardware.  Texas Jeans USA, a 35 year old brand is now available online-direct and at selected Made in USA Stores and Boutique Jean stores across the country.

Thompson attributes the growing success of Texas Jeans to two factors.  “Some people are understandably reluctant to buy clothes on-line, because if they get them and they don’t fit right, they have to be sent back and it becomes a hassle. The key difference between Texas Jeans and what’s made overseas is Consistency.  A size 32-inch waist, 34-inch length is going to fit someone with a 32-inch waist and 34-inch length inseam every time.  Not so with jeans made in China, where there is no Standardization, not only among all the suppliers, but even within the factory it’s self.  Depending upon the cut or pattern they happen to be using at any given time, a 32-inch waist might fit someone with a 30-inch waist, while another pair from the same manufacturer might fit someone with a 34-inch waist.  Meanwhile, the guy with the 32 inch waist has to try on 3-4 different pairs in different sizes before he finds something that fits.”
