The Original New York Manufacturer of Stainless Steel Hot Dog Pushcarts , Trailers, Ice Cream Carts, Tricycles, Lunch Trucks, and Food Kiosks

800BuyCart is the Vending Division of Worksman Cycles in Queens, New York and is the country’s Oldest Manufacturer of Food Vending Carts.  Worksman Cycles is America's Oldest Cycle and Cart Manufacturer and is responsible for making the Good Humor Ice Cream Tricycles and Pushcarts that were so famous across America from the 1930's through the 1970's.  The Vending Division of Worksman Cycles introduced the first Stainless Steel New York Hot Dog Pushcarts.  Worksman Cycles upholds more than a Century-long Tradition and Legacy of two Historic Companies: Worksman itself, and Admar, the company it acquired in 1996.

Jack Beller is vice president of the Vending Division of Worksman Cycles and has been involved in the business since the age of 12.  In 1948 Jack’s father, Ed Beller founded Admar, a Restaurant Equipment Shop, in an area that to this day is still considered the "restaurant equipment district”, on Catherine Street and Bowery.  The space had previously been inhabited by manufacturers of Wooden Vending Carts, which were still prevalent among street vendors at the time.  As a result, people would come by and ask “Do you have carts?’", so Ed decided to start making carts.

Admar’s hot dog carts started off as Iron, evolved into Stainless Steel, and then into a permanent, and often copied fixture of New York City’s landscape.  As is still done at Worksman today, Ed Beller used Industrial Kitchen Caliber Equipment to build his carts, which Beller would say “sets them apart from the skrimpers”.  Admar bought the wheels for all of its structures from the nearby Worksman Cycles, located on a block that was to become the future site of the World Trade Center.  Worksman Cycles began its run as a dry goods store before Morris Worksman, the Russian immigrant proprietor, started tinkering with bicycles and devised the three-wheel designs that would replace the horse and buggy among the city’s merchants.

Today 800BuyCart provides Stainless Steel Hot Dog Pushcarts, Trailers, Ice Cream Carts, Tricycles, Lunch Trucks, and Food Kiosks to companies like Nathan’s, Hebrew National, Boar’s Head, D’Agostino’s just to name a few.  800BuyCart; Much More Than Just The Original New York Hot Dog Cart.
